BancorpSouth - Some Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) have been compromised at BancorpSouth.

BancorpSouth

Many of my customers have health savings accounts and some of them have accounts with Bancorp South.  I received the following note from them last week.

"We have received notification that your card has possibly been compromised. Please review your account to ensure that no unusual or suspicious activity has occurred. To prevent fraud on the compromised accounts, your current card has been closed and a new card has been issued. You should receive your new debit card within the next 7 to 10 business days. You should also continue to use your existing Personal Identification Number (PIN) with your new card.

If you have any recurring transactions (i.e., Internet service providers, utilities, monthly membership fees) that are charged to your BancorpSouth Health Savings Account debit card, you will need to contact those companies with your new account number.

Please contact our Customer Service Specialists at 1-888-797-7711 with any questions. We ask you to

verify we have current home, work, and mobile phone numbers for your account so we will have a way to contact you in the future."

If you are concerned about your BancorpSouth HSA account, please let me know.  I have some contacts at the bank that I can put you in touch with.
